PAGE HF (6-9mm)

new-slide-2

Description

Page HF is a 6-9mm heavy duty, chemical re sistant polyurethane resin floor screed.

Uses

deal for wet processing areas such as chemical processing plants, secondary chemical contami nent zones, food manufacturing areas and food preparation areas.

Benefits

  • Very high chemical resistance
  • Hygienic – Easy to clean and maintain and sterilise; minimal joints
  • Heat resistant to 120*C @ 9mm
  • Steam cleanable
  • Non tainting, non dusting
  • High abrasion resistance
  • Withstands high mechanical stress
  • good alternative to expenceve acid resistant tiles
  • Low odour during application
  • Positive slip resistance

Elladur™ LM is a high-build Polyaspartic/polyurea fast-cure line marking floor coating based on advanced materials, designed to provide coloured tough and durable gloss finish in a range of thicknesses. Elladur™ LM is light stable with very good chemical resistance and can be applied to a variety of finishes and surfaces. Additional slip resistance can be created by incorporating suitable aggregates.

Pagetect SF41 may be used as a hard wearing coloured floor coating in areas such as facto ries, warehouses, plant and storerooms where high resistance against chemical attack is re quired. Also used as a line marker in demarca tion areas.

Products required for this system

Primer : Elladur™SF can be used as primer at 100 microns on dry substrates or use RS Dampshield F on surfaces where moisture levels are an issue. A Primer should always be used on a prepared surface.

Preparation

Floors must be clean, sound, dry and fully cured and surface laitance removed, preferably by shot blasting or mechanical abrasion.

New Concrete Floors: New concrete must be clean, sound, dry and fully cured and surface laitance removed preferably by vacuum enclosed shot blasting or mechanical grinding, a minimum strength of 25N/mm2 is required.

Where the Relative Humidity of a concrete exceeds 75% RS Dampshield F should be specified and selected on the basis of hygrometer readings in accordance with BS 8203. The number of coats to be applied is chosen in accordance with the following table:

Existing Concrete Floors

Remove all dirt, oil, grease or other surface contaminants by enclosed shot blasting, scarification or mechanical grinding. Fats, oils or greases must be removed by mechanical means and detergent washing. Local repairs should be carried out using Resupatch or Resuscreed 45.

Existing Floors ( previously coated )

Where over-coating other systems such as epoxy coatings or screeds, as part of a specified composite system, these should be tack free, but not fully cured. If fully cured then mechanical preparation is required.
Where Elladur™ LM is applied to masonry/concrete surfaces, care must be taken to ensure that surface preparation is thorough but does not disfigure the surface. Where surfaces are found to be porous a primer coat such as Elladur™ SF Colour should be used to achieve a uniform sealed surface

Priming

Elladur™ LM may be applied to an existing resin floor systems where a primer is not required. When applied direct to porous substrates such as concrete the surface must be primed with Elladur™ SF Colour to ensure good adhesion to the surface. Where the substrate moisture is above 75% ERH 1 or more coats of R.S. Dampshield F should be used depending on the relative humidity.

Application

Please refer to RSL application instruction guide. It is important to ensure that the recoat times are observed, with a maximum recoat of 8 hrs.

Application Conditions:

Substrate Temperature 2 – 30oC
Relative Humidity up to 90 %

Category Guide: FeRFA Category : 2/3

Maintenance and Cleaning

RSL recommend that ElladurTM LM should be cleaned with a regular industrial cleaning regime with a floor scrubber utilising a soft bristle brush and R.S. Industrial Floor Cleaner or similar with dirty water being removed. Isolated localised cleaning can be carried out using R.S. Tyre Mark Remover, R.S. Fats and Grease Remover & R.S. Oil Remover. All surfaces should be thoroughly rinsed with clean water after the use of chemical cleaners.
Please refer to the RSL Guide to Cleaning of Resin Floors
