A tough environment needs the right floor, installed by a company who have experience and expertise in these demanding situations. We have been designing and installing floors for the chemical industry for 30 years. We know what works, and we know how important it is that the floors installed by us keep working for you.

Our experienced technical team will guide you through your project, from selecting the right product for you specific environment to giving you guidance and advice on the aftercare of your floor.

Project - Solutia

Solutia had expansion plans which included creating a new production area and storage for chemicals. We worked with the company to understand the specific requirements of chemical  resistance that were needed by knowing the chemicals the flooring would come into contact with, and by ensuring that the flooring stood up to these chemicals. Flooring samples were installed and rigorously subjected to testing at site. Other samples of the flooring were sent to the laboratory to be tested as a control test.

  • Floor preparation by vacuum assisted shot blasting
  • Application of a liquid DPM
  • Trowel applied  chemical resistant and anti static heavy duty Resin system
  • A heavy aggregate system was installed in front of the roller shutter doors.
